David González SantanaQUIMA - IOCAG, Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, SpainDavid is a trace metal chemical oceanographer who completed his PhD in 2020 at the Université de Brest, France. Since then he has completed 2 postdoctoral fellowships. First at the CNRS based at LEMAR, France. Second, at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, following postdoctoral positions that kept him working in hydrothermal environments. He has been on 6 cruises: 2 carbon system cruises, 2 GEOTRACES transect cruises, 2 GEOTRACES process studies, and has months of coastal cruise and sampling experience. David has presented at numerous GEOTRACES focused sessions and chaired two sessions at international conferences. He is currently a member of the GEOTRACES Early Career Researcher Committee. |
